An endearing barroom with a Google-proof name—in the area between South Slope and Sunset Park now being billed as Greenwood Heights—718 is petite, but feels more “cozy” than “cramped.” That’s thanks to a row of attractive small tables and matching benches and a back-wall projector that screens sports and B-movies. The place also boasts a longer wine list than your average non-wine-bar bar, giving it the feel of a well-dressed lounge. As the first of what could be many nightlife destinations catering to a Realtor-induced new crowd, it’s not a bad pioneer.
